Offset Remaining Emissions
Once you’ve done what you can to reduce your emissions, you can go all the way to “carbon neutral” (or better yet carbon negative) by offsetting remaining emissions. Ways to reduce emissions.
Option 1: Purchase offsets from a provider or plant a tree
Investments in new renewable energy projects (e.g. wind, solar, biomass) produce GHG offsets by replacing fossil-fuel powered electricity generation.
Offsets purchased from Native Energy support renewable energy development by dairy farmers and Native American tribes. To help CoolingMan 'cool it forward,' Native Energy will donate extra GHG offsets for every ton purchased by CoolingMan participants.

You can also plant support one of the many other offset providers in the market today. Or, plant a tree with a local organization. Please be sure to report all offsets from these sources so CoolingMan can track and report total climate benefits.
Please contact us to suggest other tree-planting organizations, offset providers, or offset provider reviews.

Option 2: Donate to help CoolingMan acquire offsets
CoolingMan will aggregate donations and obtain offsets from trustworthy offset providers and high quality renewable energy projects. CoolingMan requests a donation of $10 per ton offset, with any difference to the actual cost applied to additional CoolingMan offsets, artwork, and expenses. CoolingMan is a project of the Trust for Conservation Innovation (TCI), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations to TCI/CoolingMan are tax deductible.
